Shreya Kochar, while an undergraduate at Wellesley College studying Computer Science and Mathematics, worked at the intersection of computation and neuroscience at the Boyden Lab, with interests in studying synaptic behavior and working on computational analysis modeling these structures. Prior to working at the Boyden Lab, she worked at the MIT Littleton Lab and the MIT Sur Lab. At the Littleton Lab, she worked on developing a machine learning pipeline involved in automating synaptic ROI detection and the probabilistic prediction of high/low firing rates in different synapses.
