Mia, while an undergraduate researcher pursuing a major in Biochemistry at Wellesley college, worked in Ed Boyden’s lab where she studied endosymbiotic mechanisms through engineering synthetic cells under the guidance of Liyam Chitayat. In her free time, Mia practices and performs ballet, as well as hosts a radio show.
