Marie graduated from Kanazawa University in Japan in electrical and computer engineering and spent a year on exchange at the Australian National University. She joined Toshiba and made significant contributions to NAND, BiCS Flash and SSD products. She has applied for over 40 patents so far and is continuously working on the development of new elemental technologies. She has worked on a wide range of projects, including SSD failure detection using software and AI skills, and marketing activities using technology developed in collaboration with the Synthetic Neurobiology group. By combining her skills in computer architecture, software, and AI, she aims to speed up and increase precision in large-capacity image processing.
