Kayla Vodenhal

Kayla, as an MIT undergraduate from Billings, MT, studied Biological Engineering with a concentration in neurobiology at MIT. She worked on ExCel, a project that involves applying expansion microscopy to the model organism C. elegans as part of connectomics research. Prior to the Boyden Lab, she UROPed in the Tsai Lab working on various gamma entrainment related experiments. Outside of academics, Kayla was a member of the MIT Symphony Orchestra, the MIT Women’s Club Hockey team, Associate Advising, and was an orientation captain for the class of 2023.
