Jenny holds a degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Carleton College. During her undergrad, Jenny spent time at the National Institute of Mental health conducting research on mitochondrial morphology following chronic social defeat. She also spent time in the lab of Sarah Meerts at Carleton assessing the effects of natural rewards on brain chemistry. After graduating in 2016, she accepted a position as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a technical associate in the Synthetic Neurobiology group, she worked on new technologies for mapping neural circuitry.
