Daniel Leible

After graduating from medical school in Germany, Daniel joined the Brain and Cognitive Sciences PhD program at MIT. In the Boyden Lab, he develops scalable approaches for brain-circuit mapping by integrating expansion microscopy with advanced molecular labeling strategies. Motivated by the need for precise spatiotemporal maps of molecular changes in disease, he applies these technologies to vulnerable Alzheimer’s disease circuits in collaboration with his co-advisor Li-Huei Tsai.
