Bettina Arkhurst

Bettina, while an undergraduate at MIT, researched the parasitic protozoan Toxoplasma gondii with an emphasis on its interactions with the host cell. While in the Boyden lab, Bettina worked on creating a more immersive virtual reality system for intracellular patch clamp recordings in awake behaving animals.
