Margaret Schroeder, a PhD student in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences department, is a member of both the Feng and Boyden labs. Prior to MIT, she received a BSE in Bioengineering, a BS in Economics, and a Masters in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Her thesis research focuses on characterizing the transcriptomic heterogeneity of glial cells across brain regions and developmental time points in the mammalian brain. In the Boyden lab, she works on developing image analysis pipelines for expansion revealing (ExR) and related techniques.
