Yangning Lu

Yangning received his B.Sc. in Biological Sciences at Fudan University, China, and a Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Toronto. During his graduate work in the Zhen Lab, he discovered novel mechanisms underlying motor circuit operation in nematodes, and developed methodologies to probe the function of neural circuits. Joining the Synthetic Neurobiology Group as a postdoctoral associate, he is focusing on developing and applying new tools to map and probe neural networks.
