Melina Tsitsiklis

Melina, during her time in the lab, used an autopatcher (developed in the lab) with a virtual reality system in order to analyze single neural functions in awake behaving mice. The goal was both to develop a new tool, and to better understand how neural circuits are involved in certain behaviors and emotions. For this work she won the 2014 BE Znaty-Merck Undergraduate Research prize.
