Daniel received his B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. Previously, he studied the effects of optogenetic disruption on decision making systems in rats. After graduation, he worked at Massachusetts General Hospital investigating pharmaceutical interventions in mouse models of epilepsy. Currently, he is a technical associate working on neuroimmunology experiments involving optogenetics in the Boyden Lab.
